A Space to Talk. No Pressure, No Pretense.
Sometimes you just need someone to talk to. Not a wall of credentials and clinical language. Not a checklist to fill out before anyone will listen. Just a real conversation with someone who's actually paying attention.
That's what counselling with Marc looks like.
Marc works with adults, couples, and older teens (15+) in Trenton and the surrounding Quinte West area. If coming in isn't convenient, online sessions work just as well, and the research backs that up.
How It Works
The first session is straightforward: you share your story. That's mostly it. Marc listens, asks a few questions, and starts to understand where you're at and what you're hoping to get out of things.
From there, you set the goals. Marc doesn't show up with a predetermined plan or a specific framework he's trying to fit you into. The direction of your counselling is yours to decide. His job is to help you get there.
Sessions are available Monday through Thursday, including evenings, so it's easier to fit around a regular work schedule.
Who Marc Works With
For individuals, that often looks like:
- Anxiety and stress that's become hard to manage on your own
- Depression or a general sense that things feel heavy and stuck
- Grief and loss, whether that's a person, a relationship, or a season of life
- Life transitions, starting a new job, becoming a parent, kids leaving home, retirement, or any major shift that leaves you feeling unsteady
- Anger that's affecting your relationships or your day-to-day life
- Questions about faith, identity, or what you actually believe
For couples, common reasons people reach out include:
- Communication patterns that keep leading to the same arguments
- Big life changes that have created distance or tension between partners
- Feeling like you're headed in different directions and not sure what to do about it
- Wanting to work on things before they get worse, not just when things are already broken
All session fees are $140 for a 50 minute session.
Payable by cash, cheque, e-transfer, credit card.
For benefits, please ensure that your package includes psychotherapy or counselling.

Yes. Marc sees clients 15 and up. He spent years as a youth pastor before becoming a counsellor, so he's comfortable with that age group and takes those sessions seriously.
